In Bannerghatta National Park, the Butterfly Park is packed with tons of cool items and is a treasure trove for both photographers and enthusiasts. It’s a good getaway from the city as well. The park was opened in 2006 and is the first in India.

There is a conservatory, an audio-visual space, and a museum at the butterfly park in the zoo. You have to come here for some fun shots and look around to find these lovely creatures whether you are a butterfly lover or love to use a camera. And there are nearly thirty species of butterflies within. But, depending on the season, that could increase or fall too.

It is also controlled by the atmosphere, with an artificial waterfall and fauna suitable for the culture of butterflies. You will learn about the life cycle of butterflies and so much more about butterflies at the Butterfly Museum, and there is even an exhibit of carefully preserved butterflies here. One of the biggest attractions is the artificial waterfall here. Just before the exit, the last stage of the park is a theater where you can watch a documentary about butterflies and how to do your bit to protect and save the insects.

During the spring season between June and July, it is best to go there. It is possible to check out live and framed butterflies. Inside the park, cameras are permitted. On Thursdays, Saturdays, and Wednesdays, which are the busiest days, try not to go into this park. The entry fee per person is INR 30 and it is INR 15 for children and senior citizens. The park opens at 9:30 AM and closes at 5 PM. All week except on Tuesday.
