16 must know Kannada words if you are new in Bangalore.

Here is the list of must-know words that will be useful to you.

1.Kannada Baralla
This would be the sentence that can assist with your starting days in Bangalore to have a direction.
It means “I don’t have any knowledge of Kannada, “.
2.Yelli/Yellige
This means ‘where’ or ‘where to’. As people on the streets are mainly localities, this word will help you ask for directions and who can lead you to your destinations better than localities. At times, Google maps will misdirect you.
3.Kodu/Kodi.
It says ‘give’. At moments, shopkeepers can be tough to deal with. Many times, one could get confused asking for the easiest items.

It means “How much”. Small vendors generally prefer their local tongue. For knowing the price you can use this phrase for less confusion.
16. Nimsha
It implies “minute”. a quick way to answer when someone asks you how much time is left? you can use this word if only a minute is left.
