Karnataka: Staff are on strike, and public transportation could be disrupted from Wednesday

Employees of KSRTC and BMTC are organizing an indefinite strike, which will likely affect public transportation systems throughout the state starting Wednesday.

The department agreed to grant temporary licenses to private operators, including private contract carriages and taxicabs/minibusses, to avoid inconveniencing passengers.
