Karnataka to receive its first ‘Oxygen Express’ train on Tuesday

Bengaluru: On Monday, the first ‘Oxygen Express’ to Karnataka with six cryogenic containers has left Jamshedpur. These containers carry a total of 120 tonnes of live-saving gas. The state will receive the same on Tuesday, May 11.

An official press release informed that the train is expected to arrive at the Inland Container Depot, Container Corporation of India, Whitefield.

On Sunday, Karnataka had witnessed 47,930 fresh Covid-19 cases and 490 related fatalities.
