Bengaluru: On Tuesday, Karnataka logged 14,304 fresh Covid-19 cases. This is the lowest since April 14 which witnessed 11,265 cases. Bengaluru reported 3,418 cases which is its lowest 24-hour count in the last 58 days.
On April 4, the state capital logged 3,728 cases. The state conducted 1.1 lake tests in the past 24 hours. The positivity rate stood at 12.3%.
A total of 29,271 people were discharged after recovery on Tuesday. This has taken the total recoveries to 22.9 lakh. However, the number of deaths continue to be in the 400 plus range.
