Bengaluru: On Thursday, Health Minister K Sudhakar informed that the state will resume the vaccination drive for those between the 18-44 age group from May 22. The state had halted the drive for this group from May 14.
The drive will be started again by vaccinating the frontline workers and priority groups. The frontline workers to be jabbed consist of disabled persons, crematorium staff, teachers on Covid duty, auto and cab drivers. It also includes guards, housekeeping staff, petrol bunk staff, pharmaceutical staff and judicial officers. Whereas, the priority group is inclusive of telecom staff, advocates, film industry personnel and staff of airlines.
