Bengaluru: On Monday, health minister K Sudhakar said that the state has launched a huge vaccination drive to inoculate 5-7 lakh people every day. The universal vaccination drive was launched on International Yoga Day in Bengaluru. Sudhakar told that the government is planning to get rid of Covid-19 from the state by the end of this year. For this, the state is all set to speed up the vaccination process.
Sashikala Jolle, women and child development minister said that separate Covid Care Centres (CCCs) will be arranged for children at taluk and assembly constituency level. She said, “Children who test positive will be shifted to CCCs. Arrangements are being made in hostels to house differently able children separately.”
