BBMP says joggers and walkers should wear masks in parks

Bengaluru: On Monday, as many parks were opened as part of the unlock process in Karnataka, many joggers and fitness enthusiasts were seen walking and jogging with masks on. However, there were still some people who did not wear masks or wore them improperly.

The one question that has become debatable now is whether one should wear a mask or not as the lockdown restrictions are gradually being lifted.

When asked about clarification regarding the same, the chief health officer of BBMP, Dr BK Vijendra said, “It is mandatory to wear masks when walking or jogging.”
