The Kavikal Gandi viewpoint is situated 11 kilometers from Baba Budangiri. It is 18 kilometers from Chikmaglur, as well as 11 kilometers from Malluayanagiri. The Horse Shoe View Point is another name for this viewpoint. It is a well-known viewpoint in the Chikmaglur district of Karnataka state.
At the foot of the hill, there is also a small statue of the god Hanuman. You will see a painting of Swami Vivekananda on the top of the hill if you go to the Kavikal Gandi Viewpoint. Kavikal Gandi is a prominent hill viewpoint in the Chikmagalur district, located on the Mullayanagiri – Baba Budangiri route. On the road, there is a checkpoint. The horseshoe viewpoint is also easily accessible by ascending about 50 steps from this checkpoint.
