Indira Gandhi Musical Fountain Park was inaugurated in 1995 and is the first computerized Fountain Park in India. It was built by the B. N. A. Technology Consulting Limited. This enthralling structure is built out of multimedia technology, hardware architecture, and MIDI interfaces that give it a surrealistic appeal.
The fountain flanked by lush green gardens hosts two light and sound shows each day in order to pay tribute to the valor of Bengaluru. These Fountain Shows are conducted in the evening with a remarkable presentation of water dancing along with a massive screen displaying the graphical works in the backdrop.
The Department of Horticulture maintains the landscape and structure of the park, and have built a play area for kids. The park is also interspersed with structures paying tribute to various renowned personalities. There is also an imitated train engine built at the entrance of the park that was built in honor of the then Chief Minister of Karnataka C. M. Jaffer Sharief. He got to see the construction of the fountain in the first place.
From November to February, Indira Gandhi Musical Fountain Park is the best time to visit. The city is a little bit cold in the winter months.

Entry fee: Entry fees for children between 6 and 12 years of age are INR 5. Entry is INR 10 for adults over the age of 12.
