Chunchi Falls

Chunchi Falls is a gorgeous sight near Sangam. Chunchi Falls set aside a vacation to mesmerize your senses. Located near to the confluence of the Cauvery River and the Kollidam River. This 50-foot-tall Chunchi Falls waterfall is one of the most beautiful tourist spots in Kanakapura. A long drive of 83 kilometers along a scenic route from Bangalore takes you to this wonder of nature.

Chunchi Falls is an ideal one-day outing. Waterfalls from the Arkavati River, some 90 km from the city of Bangalore. Chunchi Falls comes in the route between to Sangama and Mekedatu. Sangama is joined by 3 rivers. All locations around Chunchi Falls have access to a bus service. The experience of walking along the river is pleasant. Mekedatu is a rocky valley surrounded by forest where the river flows.

You have to turn left from Kanakapura to Sangama on the way to Yeleguri village to go to Chunchi Falls waterfall. The cascade is about 6 km from the deviation. By road, the distance is 90 km.

In winter and after the monsoons, the best time to visit Chunchi Falls is. The time to visit Chunchi Falls is from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the evening, on all days of the week.  At all costs, visiting falls should be avoided after dark. The Chunchi Falls has a power plant ahead of them.
