Bugle Rock Park is one of the Green Lungs of Bangalore, with its lush flora (and also waterfalls). With three temples and a walking and jogging track (and an open gym if you are looking for a workout) in the park, in the middle of the greenery, locals visit the area every day. See several statues of prominent Bangaloreans, such as the first Kempe Gowda, the famous DV Gundappa litterateur, and more. There is also an amphitheater here with a capacity for 300 spectators, used for events of cultural, social, and awareness. The Bull Temple, or Dodda Basavana Guddi, is adjacent to the park and houses one of the largest Nandi idols in the country. A good place to be and to rest is the Bugle rock formation in Basavanagudi. This rock formation, nearly 3,000 million years old, has a park around it as well.
