Agara Lake, situated in Agara, Bangalore, is a 98-acre natural lake. It is one of Bangalore’s most well-kept lakes. A park is at one end, and the jogging track encircled the Lake. In August 2017, it was at full capacity. Around 40 waterbird species are found, such as pelicans and reptiles such as rat snakes. Different activities also take place. It dates from the eighth century. The lake is filled, via the Raja Kaluve, by the water of Madivala lake. The excess water is drained into Lake Bellandur Lake.
The Children-Rooster Globe, which has also been washed, is Agara Lake’s most popular attraction.
More than 230 plants on the islands of the lake have been planted.

It is near the temples of Agara on the outer ring road near the statue of Bug Hanuman. Renovated and now better in the evening for strolling. A fun spot for early morning/morning/evening strolls. Cycling appears to be banned on weekends because much of the city is safe and well managed. It offers a perfect view for sunset lovers as well. Parking can be difficult often.

As such, there is no charge for entry now. It opens at 6:00 AM and closes at 9:00 PM. You can take your cameras with you to click on the best moments where cameras are allowed. Often, during rain, it may cause the lake to overflow its banks. During the rainy season, you can avoid it
