The forest is a dry deciduous forest in which eucalyptus trees holds a majority, with a wide variety of orchids, wild shrubs and climbers, especially “Lianas. It will be an ideal spot for a getaway from the hectic life of Bangalore. Due to the wavy surface, this is one of the best locations for adventure sports such as hiking, cycling, etc.

The forest is just an hour drive from Bangalore City. It is quite famous for its variety of birds. Eagle-owl, Sirkeer malkoha, Blue rock thrush, etc., are the rare bird species found over there. Vehicles are not allowed to enter the domain, but the place is a hot spot for mountain bikers. The peaceful atmosphere relaxes your mind, and a walk will rejuvenate you.

The forest area is an incredible camping spot. The sunrise with a chill breeze will be a blissful experience. One thing to keep in mind is not to pollute this paradise with any plastics.
