Bengaluru: The state government will decide over the next two or three days whether to extend the lockdown beyond May 24.
Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa said that discussions are proceeding on the matter of extended the lockdown in Karnataka, but no decision has yet been taken in the matter, while the state battles the second wave of Covid 19.
All non-essential services will be prohibited during the lockdown. However, individuals working in essential services are allowed to travel interstate, but with essential e-passes. Here’s how to apply for e-passes:
* Passes can be obtained by applying on the Karnataka Deva Sindhu website.
* Click on the option of apply e-pass.
* Fill in the personal details in the appearing form including contact number, name of the applicant, district etc. State the purpose for which the e-pass is needed.
* Submit the required ID proof and any other documents.
* Cross check the information entered and click ‘submit’.
* After submitting the form, an e-pass will be generated to check the approval status of your e-pass.
* Once approved, download the e-pass or take a hard copy of it for use.
