1. Nandi Hills
The first place every biker or someone new to Bangalore goes to is Nandi Hills. For any biker, the twisting and winding roads on the climb are amusing. When you hit the top, the sea of clouds you see is a joy to behold. Head out for a short and brief ride to Nandi Hills and enjoy the panoramic view of the plains below.

2. Shivanasamudram Falls
Shivanasamudram falls, situated on the Kaveri River, is a scenic silver cascade waterfall. This waterfall is a sight to behold in monsoons when the water is gushing through the rocky banks of the Kaveri river, situated off the Mysore highway. Do not forget to savor the delicious Maddur vada en route to the Falls of Shivanasamudra.

3. Hogenakkal Falls
The “Niagara Falls of India” is often referred to as the thundering Hogenakkal Falls. The Kaveri River at the border of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu forms these falls. It is a major tourist attraction since one of the oldest of its kind is considered to be the Carbonatite rocks in this region. Try the local fish fry served here and also take a boat ride on the coracle boats for an unforgettable experience if you happen to visit this location.

4. Bheemeshwari
Bheemeshwari is situated on the banks of the Kaveri River, a green haven. A quick 100 km trip from Bangalore brings you to this beautiful location. To get your adrenaline flowing or take a walk in the jungle, you can try some water sports here, this place offers you a very peaceful time away from the busy city. Stay at one of the many jungle lodges here for the night and enjoy the wilderness of this area.

5. Mysore
Mysore is a town that has a rich past. The Palace of Mysore is one of India’s best and most glamorous palaces. The path to Mysore is usually busy during the day, so beginning early in the day is advisable. There is a fun-filled bike ride to the top of Chamundi hills in Mysore and the view of Mysore city from here in the evening is fascinating.

6. Sangama River Point
Another fast ride from Bangalore will take you to this junction of two major Karnataka Rivers, the Kaveri River, and the Arkavathy River. As the roads are paved with greenery, the Kanakpura road is a treat for bikers. Although it is a single highway and has some traffic, it also makes up for it. The gushing water of the two rivers meeting here making their way through the granite rocks generates a cloud of fog that is a sight to behold, particularly in monsoons.
